Norris said, “I think God has a plan for Gina and me through Kickstart.” “The kids we work with are already going in the wrong way, so that’s two strikes against them. These kids live in the city, and they don’t like themselves. And our Kickstart programme, which teaches young people how to be good people through martial arts, is a way for us to give back.
As has already been said, Chuck married Dianne Holechek in 1958. She was the girl he loved in high school. They were married until 1988, and during that time, their kids Mike and Eric were born.
In 1997, Chuck took his date to a Dallas restaurant. But he liked another woman more. That woman was named Gena O’Kelley, and they started dating soon after. Chuck and Gina got married in 1998, and they are still very in love with each other. Chuck used Facebook to celebrate his wife, whom he calls his best friend, on the 20th anniversary of the day they met.
“22 years ago, I met the love of my life. Right now, we’re celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary,” Norris said.
“Gena… Thank you for being the best wife, mum, and friend a man could ask for. I love you, Gena, and I hope we’ll be together for a long time.”
Chuck and Gena Norris have two kids, Danielle and Dakota. But about ten years ago, something happened that turned their lives upside down.
He quit making films to look after his sick wife.
Gena’s health has been getting worse since then. I’ve heard that she had a shot in 2013. Gena says that she knew something was wrong right away.
“Within a few hours of the first shot, I felt like acid had been poured through my whole body. At first, the fire was under control, but it quickly grew… I was in bed for five months with an IV and nurse care all the time. Chuck fell asleep on the couch next to me and didn’t wake up. She said, “I prayed that I would live to see my kids grow up.”
Gena has had nerve pain and problems with her kidneys ever since. They think that a drug that was given to her many times during MRI scans (MRI) made her sick.
Gena and Chuck went to court against 11 health care companies to get what was right.
Since then, every time Gena needed help, her husband was there. He gave up everything else to be with his wife all the time. The two people say that they have spent about $2 million on treatments alone.
“I quit making films so I could concentrate on Gena. “I do everything I can to keep her alive,” Chuck said. “I think that this is a very important issue.”
Gena said, “It’s bothersome and sad.” “No one knows about this horrible, ugly secret, but Chuck and I will change that.”
We hope that Chuck Norris and Gena do well in everything they do in the future. We hope that things will get better for her soon.
