When the cashier found out that it was a woman’s 90th birthday, she bought her a rose and gave it to her.
A nice grandmother got a birthday present from a stranger while shopping for her granddaughter Jeannettea Hollingshead’s 90th birthday cake.
“Today was Gramma’s 90th birthday,” Jeannettea wrote on the Internet. “This afternoon I bought a cake for her at the store in Athens, Ohio, and talked to the nice cashier.” I told him about Gramma when he asked about the cake. He said, “Wait right here just a minute please!” and left.
At the flower stand, the helpful cashier left his job to buy an old woman a rose for her 90th birthday.
“He came back in a minute with a rose from the flower stand and asked me to help her celebrate by giving it to her.”
I asked Wes, the cashier, if he could give her the rose himself, and he gladly agreed.
“Instead, I asked him to give it to her because she was with me and I took the picture!” One more thing that young man Wes did made Gramma’s day: he was kind towards everyone. Hope this message finds you, and I hope someone at work thanks him for this! It was too sweet.
Sometimes, little acts of kindness and care can mean a lot.
There may be a small chance for you to be kind to a stranger this week. If you see it, you should think about doing it. People can remember even the smallest acts of kindness for a long time.
