Why can people trade sea turtles when every species is in danger of going extinct?

Even though we hear about pets being saved all the time, you might not know that many wild animals, including sea animals, need attention and help.

Sad to say, in a big part of the world, killing turtles for food is still allowed. Two sea turtles from Papua New Guinea were in a small market in Greymouth, New Zealand. stood there, ready to be served to someone as a tasty meal.

If the good man Arron Culling hadn’t been there to save them, maybe it would have happened. Small acts of kindness can sometimes make a big difference.

Aaron and his friends spent more than [$.40] to get the turtles back to the sea, where they belong because it is warm and safe.

He has saved more than ten turtles but knows he can’t change the world by himself. We all need to work together. They have saved more than ten turtles in the past. These two turtles are not the first ones they have saved.

We must do something to protect this great species!
