After having her 11th child, a girl, the first woman in the UK to have ten boys in a row, is no longer the only girl in her house.
Alexis Brett couldn’t believe it when she learned she would have a girl.
Alexis and her husband David had to find out the gender of their baby right away, so they flew 50 miles to a place that could do that.
“I was glad to hear that we would have another kid. She told The Mirror, “When I realized it was a girl, my face looked like a picture.”
The mother, who is 39 years old and lives in the Scottish Highlands with her train driver husband, David, 44, said she was “over the moon” to meet Cameron.
“I was both shocked and happy. She told the Mirror, “It feels great that she’s here with us now.
His ten brothers, ages 2 to 17, will look after Cameron.
Dad David says they have behaved much better around her so as not to wake her up.
They also want to help her by holding her and feeding her, which is great.

Alexis said she would have been happy if her eleventh child had been a boy because all of her sons “are important” to her.
“People often ask us if we have so many kids because we were looking for that hard-to-find woman. I’m honest enough to say “no.” Even though Cameron wasn’t part of the plans, she was still very happy.
Alexis doesn’t like a messy house, even though she has so many boys running around. She does 49 loads of laundry every week and vacuums every day.

Alexis says, “We’re stopping for sure now.” No more will be made. I’ve said that before, but this time I really mean it. I love my family as it is.
I never wanted a big family, but I love it now that I have one.
Alexis, who works part-time as an exercise instructor, said it makes her happy to buy pink things for the first time.
