People getting along with a wild bear is so wonderful that it seems like it could only happen in fairy tales. A couple in Russia took in a bear cub that had been left by its mother 23 years earlier. Since then, the big bear has lived with them.
When Stepan was only 3 months old, Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko chose to take him in and raise him as their own. Hunters were the first ones to see this sweet cub.
They saved him from the forest and gave him a new home, so the couple chose to adopt Stepan. Stepan’s health was in danger at the time.
Stepan is now a 300-pound, 7-foot-tall big bear. He has been with his family for 23 years.
Some people are afraid of Stepan bear because of how he acts and looks, but he is very kind and friendly and loves to hug people, come up to them, and show respect.
This giant has ever hurt no one. He really likes being around people. Stepan helps the man he took in by doing things around the house and even watering the plants.

One of this bear’s favorite things is cuddling up with his mom and dad while they watch TV. Stepan loves soccer a lot.
Besides that, she also enjoys being a model for movies and photo shoots.

Stepan eats up to 25 kg of fish, eggs, and veggies daily. A can of condensed milk is his favorite food and drink.
