John Cena, 46, Is Happily Child-Free, Because He Doesn’t Want to Choose Between a Kid and His Wife

John Cena, a former professional wrestler turned actor, and his wife are content with their child-free marriage. We decided to go deeper into the reasons why everyone’s favorite heartthrob has opted out of having kids, and who knows, maybe you’ll find that his reasoning rings true for you, too.

He swiftly jumped into marriage with his second wife.

Shay Shariatzadeh became Cena’s second wife in October of 2020. The couple secretly tied the knot after dating for barely a year and a half after meeting on the production of the wrestler’s movie, Playing with Fire (2019).

Cena tweeted just before their joyful date, “When you are truly ready to let love in and give to love all it needs to flourish, I feel there is no greater more rewarding connection.” Cena and Shariatzadeh’s love was celebrated with a formal ceremony two years later.

He made it abundantly obvious that having kids is not in the cards.

Cena does not feel any kind of urgency to start a family. Since his acting career took off, the actor of “The Peacemaker” has been keeping himself busy, but he couldn’t be happier. “My life is fantastic. For a while now, I’ve been traveling at the speed of light. I’ve been given chances to experience things that I never would have imagined, and I dreamed pretty big.

Cena continued by saying that he is giving everything he has to being the best spouse he can be, and that he has little left over for other goals. It’s a lot of effort. Managing the time demands of a healthy lifestyle can be challenging. It takes a lot of effort on my part to be a good husband and partner to my wife. It’s challenging for me to maintain relationships with the people I care about.

The 46-year-old actor admits that he thinks he would make a great dad, but that isn’t a good enough reason for him to become one. “I think just because you might be good at something, for me, is not a strong enough reason to do that,” he says. You need to really care about the subject. Fuel is required for it to work.

The topic of “kids” is not completely taboo, though.

There have been rumors that Cena and Shariatzadeh are open to having children, despite the fact that Cena is not in any mental condition to do so at this time.

A close confidante of his remarked, “He said for so long that he didn’t want kids, but now he’s warming to the idea more and more.” They’re just going to go with the flow, but Shay is different; he has a sense that he’s matured and is ready to take on more responsibility. They would both enjoy it very much.
